Where should I get my BA in philosophy?

What colleges have a strong undergraduate philosophy program, and have classes that don’t just teach other peoples philosophies but help you develop your own. Preferably smaller schools with good teacher to student ratios, but not necessary.

But as far as I know there’s not really any good paying jobs with a Philosophy degree and the only option really is to get your Master’s or PhD and teach. Is a dual Major with History and Philosophy of Science worth it?

I am considering combining a B.A. in the History and Philosophy of Science with either biology or anthropology. Where can this take me? I want to combine a science with a humanity and the coursework looks fascinating, but I’m afraid that this degree will be useless if I decide not to continue my education. I just don’t have enough information to make a decision, and its not a common degree so I’m having trouble finding career paths stemming from it. Any suggestions? Thanks.
