Marc G asked:
I graduated college with a bachelors degree in philosophy. I have since decided that i would like to pursue a career in education. My question is: Does anyone know if i can get into a masters degree program in Teaching Arts with this degree? I know they didn’t teach philosophy at my high school, but could i teach english. What about elementary education, or school counseling? Any body know?

gallant171 asked:
If I’m taking a summer philosophy class from a local community college, will the credit transfer when I move to a university in the fall if I’m majoring in Business? Since philosophy is a liberal arts class I’m afraid it won’t transfer OR count for anything toward my degree in Business.

MiMi asked: My instructor is of no help at all (online class) and I really REALLY need someone to help me please. Here is the topic:
historical development of Continental philosophy’s existentialism and phenomenology as a response to Hegelian idealism. Pay special attention to the key contributors and principle issues of the time.
Yea, I paraphrase and cite things. This is only the 3rd week of this class and I am sooo lost on this topic.
Ok, I know not to copy and paste and use APA format, I have been in school over a year but JUST started this class. The paper is already 3 days late due to lack of information and answering the question presented.

Austin M asked:
It seems to me that philosophy is paramount in truly understanding the human body. Hippocrates of Cos advocated a complete medical education of empirical science and theological studies. I may not agree with injecting theology in medicine, but it certainly seems philosophy is quite consequential in the development and progression of the health sciences. Why then has the pre-medical education omitted such philosophy courses as the philosophy of ethics and the philosophy of science?
