Can one completely fathom the reality of another’s perspective? Is Philosophy worthy of discipline?
Thursday, February 28th, 2008circadian08 asked:
Sense our perspectives, memories, virtues, and attitudes of each individual varies is there any validity in philosophy? Other than the fact that we can understand a philosophy, but only relatively, does lose its power as it disconnects from its source, like a game of telephone? How can we be sure a philosphy is being interpretted as intended by the philosopher? Are philosophers just leaders with sensible, rational, or acceptable answers to the realities that we follow?

Is there a quote that embodies my philosophy that not living a bad life is not necessarily living a good life?
Wednesday, February 13th, 2008Rog H asked:
Here’s my philosophy:
The path that is good is different from the path that is not bad.
The path that is good leads you to living a good life, and making the world a better place.
The path that is not bad might lead you away from a bad life, but does not necessarily lead to living a good life.

I’m sure I’m not the only one with this idea, but does anyone know of an existing quote that would basically say the same thing?
