MindTraveler asked:

The following are examples of non-philosophical questions or questions that are not philosophically important:

Why did the chicken cross the road?

What came first the chicken or the egg?

If a tree falls in the forest and noone is around to hear it, does it make a sound?

(1) Explain why some questioners place the above questions in the philosophy section.

(2) Give an example of what you consider to be among the most important philosophical questions.

Please make your answer philosophical.
Philosophers tend not to laugh at silly jokes, such as “Why did the chicken cross the road?” Philosophers can find humor by reflecting upon, and evaluating, complex systems of belief. Most people, because of their lack of philosophical training, could not even begin to understand what philosophers find humorous.
Philosophy is not simply about stating one’s opinions, and even less is it about vulgar or cognitively under-developed, or ignorant opinions. A philosophical answer is supposed to provide logical and informed arguments for the opinions the individual chose by exercising creative and critical thinking skills.
Almost any question can stimulate thinking. But philosophy is not simply about thinking, and some questions are more thought provoking than others. The more philosophical that a question is, the more that it is capable of inspiring the individual to creatively apply knowledge for the purpose of critically reasoning to choose what s/he considers the most logical and informed opinion.

The most important philosophical question: What is the good in all aspects of living?

chrisnoscrub047 asked:

This is not a question asking anyone here on Yahoo! Answers to explain it (in part because I don’t think a satisfactory answer would be worth only ten points) If you can, try. But I’m really looking for a website. I also know that the Joker has changed over the years. So I guess I’m specifically asking for the philosophy of the Joker as portrayed in the Dark Knight movie, directed by Christopher Nolan.
