What field combines philosophy and psychology to study emotions, values, and behaviors?
Saturday, May 16th, 2009hello =] asked:
Cognitive science is the best fit I’ve seen so far, but it seems to focus more on the “mechanics” of living (linguistics, perception, memory). I would like to focus more on emotions, values, and behaviors from a philosophical standpoint, but taking into account psychological factors.

For example, I might study how people decide what will make them happy or how people develop friendships.
*What kind of career could I get? besides being a researcher. Something that wouldn’t require grad schooling. Just a master’s.

Can I major in philosophy; minor in business/finance, and then go to graduate school for business?
Thursday, May 14th, 2009gian asked:
Entrepreneurship and the business world really fascinate me. I love the whole idea of being financially independent; setting your own standards; working with other people; and the endless possibilities. On the other hand, I also have a passion for learning: Trying to understand life per se, and the world we live in.
I think philosophy would provide a good foundation before I go into the business world. However, my concern is: Do I need a bacholar’s degree in Business to get an MBA in business?
