What is the branch of moral philosophy about irrationality?

If a religion or philosophy accepts the suffering of others for the benefit of its followers is it moral?

If you accept jesus on your deathbed, you get a mansion, forgetting all the lives you might have destroyed as you lived you own.
So should Christianity really be classified as a moral religion or an immoral philosophy.
